Sycamore Square Group were appointed to provide Lead Designer, Contract Administration, Quantity Surveying and CDM Principal Designer services for refurbishment and remodelling works to a new group collaborative working teaching room. The works required installation of ceilings, new power, data and AV with new fishes throughout. We opened up the natural light to the space, increased the ceiling heights and installed flexible seating to enable the new rooms to be multi functionalmaximising the utilisation of the space. We procured the furniture for the fit out via the NECUP framework to ensure the highest quality and value for the client. The works were undertaken in a busy live campus environment, access, egress and segregation of materials was closely monitored whilst sequencing and timings of noisy works were carefully planned and coordinated with the time tabling and teaching teams to minimise out of hours working and disruption.
