Sycamore Square Group were appointed to provide a full suite of professional services for the rectification and refurbishment of a partly converted barn. The existing barn building was situated on a steep sight with no foundations and suffering significant water ingress. We surveyed the property, planned and managed specialist structural, wall tie, roof, damp and drainage surveys and procured the remedial works and refurbishment works to the property. The new stairs, floors, walls, WC’s and kitchen installations were completed and extensive external works undertaken to create a high quality single dwelling. We managed the refurbishment works and close coordination and sign off with building control to successfully hand over the project to a high quality on time and on budget.
