Project overview

Sycamore Square Group were appointed to provide Lead Designer, Contract Administration, Quantity Surveying and CDM Principal Designer services for refurbishment and remodelling of the new Midwifery department. Maximising ceiling heights we created a clean open teaching facility with compliant services to facilitate the expanding healthcare training provision for the University. We procured the furniture for the fit out via the NECUP framework to ensure the highest quality and value for the client. The works were undertaken in a busy live campus environment, access, egress and segregation of materials was closely monitored whilst sequencing and timings of noisy works were carefully planned and coordinated with the time tabling and teaching teams to minimise out of hours working and disruption.
